This research was conducted in East Java Province using annual time series secondary data in 2010-2014 and cross-sectional data of 38 regencies/municipals in East Java supported with library study. The result of research showed that there were a negative insignificant effect of economic growth on poverty, a positive significant effect of unemployment on poverty, a negative significant effect of education on poverty, a positive significant effect of social grant fund on poverty, and a negative significant effect of capital expenditure on poverty. The model developed in this research was still limited as it considered only the effect of GDP, unemployment, education, social grant fund an capital expenditure on poverty in East Java Province. Therefore, more in-depth further studies should be conducted with more completed data and method thereby could complement the preexisting result of studies and the result could be used as the matter of consideration for many parties related to economic development in the term of mitigating poverty.
