    Abstract

    Ika Rahmawati, LEARNING SEWING SKILL PATCHWORK APPLICATION IN SEWING EXTRACURRICULAR OF MTS AL ISLAM GONDANGREJO KARANGANYAR IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR OF 2017/2018. Skripsi, Surakarta: Faculty of Teaching Training and Education Sebelas Maret University, 2017. This study aims to find out: (1) the implementation teaching learning sewing skill of patchwork application in sewing extracurricular of MTS Al Islam Gondangrejo, (2) supportive and obstructive factors in the implementation of learning sewing skill of patchwork application in sewing extracurricular of MTS Al Islam Gondangrejo. This study used descriptive qualitative research by using case study. The sources of data were informant, place and phenomenon, document and archives. The techniques of collecting data were interview, observation, and documentation, This study was using data triangualation and informant review to validate the data. The data analysis was braided mode analysis. The target of learning process of sewing extracurricular of MTs Al Islam Gondangrejo is the extracurricular learning purpose can be achieved. The learning material is appropriate with sewing material, sewing technique of patchwork application that is taken from some books and internet. The teacher does not used a method to deliver the material, but variation method. Those are lecturing, demonstration, discussion, asking and aswering, and giving a task. The teacher used some media in the learning process, those are audio, visual, and audio visual. The evaluation activity is started after the students finish sewing practice task. Observation and the work result (planning, work process and work result) are used as the assessment. The supporting factors in the sewing extracurricular learning are teacher extracurricular coach that has good skill for sewing, friendly teacher, students’ talent and interest, and the school environment atmosphere that is quite. The obstacle factors are less facilities such as chair and table. The infrastructure of sewing skill is narrow, so the learning is changed to IXB class that has less lighting, it causes the learning process of sewing extracurricular is slightly disturbed.
