    Abstract

    This study attempts to test influence work related dimensions with the career commitment with job stress as mediation. The study is done at regional general hospital Surakarta. A method of the sample in this research conducted using nonprobability sampling. Sampling techniques used in this research is convenience sample of sampling namely chosen with consideration ease. Based on the results of the testing using amos 22 to test model structural relations of , obtained negative results insignificant between work routinization with job stress, lack of promotional opportunity wit job stress and job stress with career commitment. While, the positive significant between role clarity with job stress, and work related dimensions with career commitment. To negative significant between social support with job stress. The job stress mediation between the various as a work related dimensions and career commitment produce job stress mediate role clarity and social support , and job stress not mediate work routinization and the lack of promotional opportunities. Through this study, Is expected to inform to the hospital surakarta in formulating policies should be done related to problema studied, To further research to extend the scope research object to hospital surakarta described the conditions.
