    Abstract

    Jakarta is always evictions every year, this is encourage Watchdoc with the students to documentation how the lives of Jakarta citizens when the evictions occurred in real and without engineering. They follow the citizens daily lives of eviction victims. The film contains the aspirations of the citizens to the Provinvial Goverment of DKI Jakarta about evicitions carried out in their area, but it also shows how the lives of citizens after the eviction. This study aims to determine the meanings contained in the film. In addition, to find out what the messages to be conveyed by citizens of evition victims through the documentary film Jakarta Unfair. From the analysis results found two cores based on the sig that appears. First, the sign that appears in the sequence of Evicting the Citizens of Bukit Duri is a visualization of the condition Bukit Duri citizens affected by evictions fot the Ciliwung River normalization project. Second, the sign that appears in the sequence of Evicting the citizens of Kampung Akuarium is a visualization of the post-evistion condition of Citizens of Kampung Akuarium who live in towers, or who reject it. The conclusion of this study is the film contains several meaning of dissapointment, sadness, loss, satire adn resistance. In addition, there is a message to be conveyed that citizens ask the Provincial Goverment of DKI Jakarta to fix their lives after the eviction, especially in terms of their economy.
