    Abstract

    This research aims to obtain the articulated design of Transjakarta bus with the lowest drag coefficient value. This numerical analysis was done by CFD Solidworks Flow Simulation.The analysis were conducted with 16 variation models at speeds of 20 km/h, 40 km/h, 60 km/h, and 80 km/h in steady state conditions. The results showed that model 2 has the lowest drag coefficient value of 63.82x10-2 at a speed of 80 km/h. Articulated bus Transjakarta has a speed in the range of 40 km/h then, model 1 is the best design because it has the lowest coefficient value of drag at speed 20 km/h for 64.53 x10-2 and 40 km/h for 64.02x10-2.
