    Abstract

    One of the most favorable mass media in Indonesia is television. College students as an individual who have more brain power and also a modern and dynamic humankind must be aware about the importance of preserving the nature. Since their time always occupied by dense routines, so the demand for freshen their live was achieved through travelling. “My Trip My Adventuree” is a travel documentary news program aired on Trans TV which contain content about adventure and exploring the beauty of Indonesia that packed with information and also entertainment. Among all travel documentary program aired on Indonesian television channel, “My Trip My Adventuree” stole people’s attention and become most favorable travel documentary program in Indonesia. This research aimed to prove whether there is any connection between social influences into intensity of watching “My Trip My Adventuree” that also towards to interest of travelling into Bachelor Degree Student of Faculty of Politics and Social Sciences Sebelas Maret University Class of 2015. Type of research used was Stimulus and Response Model, which is a theory that representing if response that show communication as an action - reaction process which is the quality of response affected by the quality of the stimulus. This model has three main elements; messages as stimulus, receiver, and effects as the responses. The basic type of research used by the survey is quantitative with random sampling into Bachelor Degree Student of Faculty of Politics and Social Sciences Sebelas Maret University Class of 2015 used as sampling method and for the data analysis using simple linear regression and moderation regression. From the research results obtained if “My Trip My Adventuree” show give 23,3% towards to the interest of travelling into Bachelor Degree Student of Faculty of Politics and Social Sciences Sebelas Maret University Class of 2015 along with the moderation variable which is the social influences is not proven as an amplifier or weakening effect towards to the interest of travelling into Bachelor Degree Student of Faculty of Politics and Social Sciences Sebelas Maret University Class of 2015 after watching the show.
