    Abstract

    The development of information and communication technology caused the present of citizen journalism. Some of mainstream media adopt the concept of citizen journalism. One of them is NET CJ. NET CJ is citizen journalism forum in Indonesia that was made by NET TV. Anyone who has interesting and actual information, also useful for many people, they can send their information to NET CJ to be selected and played on NET TV. In the beginning of it presence, professional journalist questioned the accuracy and objectivity of citizen journalism news productions. It is because of everyone could send information, whether they understand journalistic ethics or not. Furthermore, there wasn’t such a regulation to control citizen journalism in Indonesia. Not only soft news, they were also produced hard news, i.e flood disaster news. In disaster journalism, profesional journalist could make a mistake, moreover citizen journalism. This research analyzes how flod disaster news content produced by NET CJ related to implication of journalistic ethics in October 2016 – Februari 2017 according to the focus discussed and 10 aspects of journalistic ethics. This study belong to the type of quantitative research with content analysis methods. This research used total sampling as sampling technic, where the number of samples is equal to the number of population. The author used technique of cross tabulation data analysis henceforward data frequency from each category been descripted. Rumus Holsti used to reliability test, where the minimum reliability is 0,7% or 70%. The result of this analysis shows that 20% of flood disaster news from NET CJ is not commit any violation at all. Most of the news not obey in principle of victim’s voice aspect dan relevance of news source. The majority of news focus is focus on disaster effects.
