    Abstract

    The writing of this final project aims to identify and obtain a clearer picture and understanding of the discrepancies that occur in the payment system of Letters of Credit as a payment system of export in CV Palem Craft Jogja, in accordance with the agreement and created i the Sales Contract carried out by the exporter namely CV Palem Craft Jogja and importers. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. The primary data obtained from interviews with the CV Palem Craft Jogja that handles export activities. While secondary data obtained from books and other reading materials related to the subject taken. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the cause of the discrepancies in the CV Palem Craft Jogja is about errors in documents such as the absence of a document or documents in the L / C is not complete, wrong description of goods such as the description of items written in the document is not the same as those in the L / C , procedures performed by CV Palem Craft Jogja to minimize discrepancies is to perform amendment or necessary amendments to the L / C so that in accordance with the document prepared and improving documents L / C required to be consistent with the terms of the L / C, if the discrepancies can be.
