    Abstract

    The purposes of this research are to prove that (1) what there is an influence of creativity to student’s achievement in social sience of class X students of SMA Negeri I Gemolong in the year of 2009/2010. (2) what there is an influence of study interest to student’s achievement in social sience of class X students of SMA Negeri I Gemolong in the year of 2009/2010. The method which was used in this research was descriptive research methodology. The population of this research was all students of class X SMA Negeri I Gemolong with the total number 225 students. The technique of collecting the sample was simple random sampling technique with the total number 140 students. The technique of collecting data which was used in this research for the variable of creativity and study interest was questionair. While for the variable of achievement used documentation. The data analysis in this reseach was quantitative analysis. While the hipothesis testing which was used was t-test. Based on the result of data analysis, it can be concluded that (1) creativity has a significant influence to the student achievement in social science subject (thit=4,532 > ttab =1,960 in the significance level of 5%),(2) study interest has a significant influence to the student’s achievement in social science subject(thit=5,078>ttab=1,960) in the significance level of 5%
