    Abstract

    ABSTRACT Nur Arifin. EDUCATION OF TRAFFIC THROUGH CIVIC EDUCATION LEARNING ON STUDENT SMK NEGERI 2 KARANGANYAR. Thesis, Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Sebelas Maret University Surakarta. July, 2017. The purpose of this study are: 1) Knowing the integrated model of traffic through Civic Education learning in SMK Negeri 2 Karanganyar; 2) Knowing the perception of orderly traffic on students SMK Negeri 2 Karanganyar; 3) Knowing the obstacles of the integrated model of traffic through Civic Education learning on students SMK Negeri 2 Karanganyar. This study is the descriptive qualitative research. The research data was obtained from the informants, places, and the documents. Purposive sampling was used for the sampling technique. Interviews, observations, and the documents analysis were used to collect the data. The data validity used the data and method triangulations. To analyze the data, an interactive analysis model was used. The results showed that: 1) Integrated Model of Traffic through Civic Education learning on student SMK Negeri 2 Karanganyar that is by inserting material from Traffic Module SMA / SMK / MA issued by the Central Java Police into Civic Education. Teacher uses problem based learning methods through visual media that displays image or animations that show the orderly traffic. 2) Student perception related to traffic order is very positive. Students begin to realize and obey the school rules related to traffic order. 3) Constraints of integration model of traffic through Civic Education on students of SMK Negeri 2 Karanganyar namely in the form of internal and external constraints both teachers and students. Internal constraints including the lack of teaching materials and only one teacher who applying the model. Internal constraints from students, lack of understanding modul material which is delivered by their teachers because the material is too short. External constraints including the lack of traffic signs in the school. Constraints from student are student domicile and the influence of social media that doesn’t support the orderly traffic.
