Abstract
Brick press machine is a brick production tool, with the working principle on the material to be printed. The material of the brick consists of soil, air, and cement. The process of mixing the material is done outside the machine work. The performance of this tool is manually, with source power from operator (human). Operator operate this tool by leveraging the lever arm, the movement of the lever is distributed on the pressure shaft which then moves vertically to the material inside the mold. Axis is a component that works vertically. The movement of the pressure shaft is aided by eight on. The purpose of designing the wheels on the frame of the machine is that at the time of the device operation, the operator does not need high power. In addition, the design of this wheel also has the function of accelerating the movement of the axle shaft at the time of the device operated. The dimension of the pressure shaft on the press machine has a diameter of 38 mm with a length of 620 mm. The material used as a shaft material is AISI 1030.
