    Abstract

    Pembangunan infrastruktur yang semakin pesat menyebabkan timbulnya permintaan pembangunan pada bidang konstruksi. Bersamaan dengan meningkatnya permintaan beton maka meningkat pula permasalahan yang harus dihadapi. Beberapa masalah yang terjadi di lapangan antara lain berkaitan dengan mutu beton dan kemudahan pengerjaan beton. Beton Mutu Tinggi Memadat Mandiri (HSSCC) memberikan solusi baru dalam teknologi beton karena memiliki keunggulan workabilitas, durabilitas, dan kekuatan tinggi sehingga dapat diaplikasikan dengan baik di lapangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen di labolatorium dengan benda uji berupa silinder beton dengan diameter 15 cm dan tinggi 30 cm. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan admixture Viscocreete-1003 (Superplasticizer) dengan kadar tetap sebesar 1,7% dari berat semen dan Plastiment-VZ (Water Reducing Retarder) masing-masing sebesar 0,2%, 0,3%, 0,4%, dan 0,5% dari berat semen. Untuk mengkaji pengaruh Plastiment-VZ (Water Reducing Retarder) pada beton dilakukan pengujian sifat segar beton dengan menggunakan alat Slump Cone, L-Shaped Box, dan V-funnel, sedangkan tes kuat tekan beton dilakukan pada umur 14 dan 28 hari. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan penggunaan admixture Plastiment-VZ (Water Reducing Retarder) dengan kadar 0,3% dari berat semen memberikan nilai kondisi SCC yang baik, yaitu dengan nilai slump, blocking ratio, waktu V-funnel masing-masing sebesar 755 mm, 0,93, 8.25 detik dan kuat tekan maksimum sebesar 54,14 MPa. Karakteristik beton segar semakin membaik seiring dengan bertambahnya dosis Plastiment-VZ (Water Reducing Retarder), namun penggunaan di atas kadar 0,3% mengakibatkan terjadinya bleeding. Kuat tekan yang dihasilkan mengalami penurunan pada penambahan kadar sebesar 0,4% dan 0,5% dari berat semen. Berdasarkan hasil hitungan didapat kuat tekan optimum pada umur 28 hari berada pada kadar 0,32%. Kata kunci : Beton memadat mandiri, Kuat tekan, Retarder, Superplasticizer, Sifat segar. High Strength Self Compacting Concrete (HSSCC) gives a new solution in concrete technology because it offers advantages such as high workability, high durability, and high strength that can well be applied in the field of concrete industry. This research was done by experimental method in Laboratory with cylindrical specimens with diameter of 15 cm and height of 30 cm. In this research admixture Viscocreete-1003 (Superplasticizer) with a fixed dosage of 1.7% by weight of cement and Plastiment-VZ (Water Reducing Retarder) in 4 dose variations (0.2%, 0.3%, 0.4%, and 0.5%) were used. To examine the effect of Plastiment-VZ (Water Reducing Retarder) on concrete, fresh concrete properties were tested using Slump Cone, L-Shaped Box, and V-funnel, while compressive strength tests are carried out on 14 and 28 days of concrete age. The result of the research showed that the used of Plastiment-VZ (Water Reducing Retarder) in the dosage of 0.3% by weight of cement gives the best condition of SCC with slump value, blocking ratio, and v-funnel time each in the amount of 755 mm, 0.93 and 8.25 seconds. Also gives the maximum compressive strength with value of 54.14 MPa. Fresh concrete properties improved along with the increasing dosage of Plastiment-VZ (Water Reducing Retarder). However, concrete with the addition of Plastiment-VZ more than 0.3% can cause bleeding. Addition of Plastiment-VZ dosage of 0.4% and 0.5% resulted in decreased compressive strength of concrete. From the calculation, the optimum compressive strength in 28 days are obtained and it is at the dosage of 0.32%.
