The Relationship between Emotional Intelligence with Learning Achievement of D IV Midwifery’s Students in Medical Faculty UNS Educational success can be evaluated or viewed of academic achievement that has been achieved. Learning achievement is caused by several factors, one of them is emotional intelligence. In the process of learning, intellectual and emotional intelligence to complement each other. Someone who has emotional intelligence such as interpersonal skills, intrapersonal, self-adjustment, stress control, and the general mood in most circumstances be able to use all its potential effectively to improve academic achievement results. This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence with learning achievement of D IV midwifery’s students in medical faculty UNS. The population in this study is 253 students. Samples is taken as 120 students by using purposive sampling. The criteria of sample in this study were students who had covered fifth semester and has been through Midwifery Working Competence Course (MKK). Tool of collecting data is used the scale of emotional intelligence and documentation or archives Results Study Card (KHS) of D IV Midwifery’s students in Medical Faculty UNS. Analysis of data using a technique pearson product moment correlation analysis. Based on calculations using Pearson product moment analysis technique, result pvalue is 0.000<0.05 and r is 0.809. it means there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence with learning achievement. Analysis of data shows r2 or the effective contribution amounting 0.655. This figure implies that emotional intelligence contributes effectively amounted to 65.5% on the learning achievement of in Medical Faculty UNS. Based on the categorization of respondents is generally known that the D IV Midwifery’s Students have a high emotional intelligence with a very high academic achievement. High emotional intelligence that indicated by 67 respondents, a total of 55.9% with a empirical mean of 191.17 that contained in the range of 170.5 <X≤ 201.5, where as a very high academic achievement demonstrated by the 64 respondents, a total of 54.2 % with a empirical mean of 326, 48 contained in the range of 324 <X.
