    Abstract

    This research aimed to find out the determinant that affected purchasing decisions of chicken nugget’s consumers in Modern Market of Surakarta. The basic method that used in this research was analytical descriptive. The sampling method used in this study was Convenience Sampling. The total sample set was as much as 100 respondents. The data used were primary and secondary data. The method of data analysis was by using multiple linear regression analysis. Research location conducted in Surakarta City with convenience sampling technique. The number of sample research was 100 respondents who were consumers of chicken nuggets spread in four areas, which were, in the North was Luwes Nusukan, in the South was Lotte Mart, in the West was Super Indo Adi Sucipto, and in the East was Luwes Loji Wetan. The results showed that product, price, promotion, place, income, age, and the number of family members simultaneously influenceaffected the purchasing decision of chicken nuggets in Modern Market of Surakarta. While partially, the age and the number of family members did not affect the purchasing decision of chicken nuggets in Modern Market of Surakarta. Based on this research also found that consumer lifestyle could be determined from the amount of income.
