    Abstract

    Abstract Technological developments create many new media and one of them called instagram. Indonesia itself, has 22 million active instagram users every day. Instagram is attracting a lot of interest from various circles , including the celebrities. Among the rows of celebrities there are three names, Lyra Virna, Shireen Sungkar, and Laudya Cynthia Bella, which become the spotlight with the hijrah process that has passed by them. The hijrah process that they have been through has an impact on the way they do with social media. One of the purpose is using it for Da’wah. This study aims to see how the audience perception of the account concerned as a Da’wah Media. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative research, that will explain how perception formed to account instagram that may concerned. The population is UNS’s moslem student while the informant was selected by purposive sampling and snowball sampling from several faculties at UNS. Then the researchers conducted in-depth interviews for further analysis with data serving that has been through data reduction process. After the conclusion taken, then the data was being verified to ensure the results taken are valid. The results of this study indicate that the instagram account of the actresses can be regarded as a Da’wah Media, and it was seen as good and positive. It is based on content that is uploaded to the account both belong to Lyra, Shireen, and, Bella, as we can see from the photos uploaded, the way they dressed up, the captions they wrote, as well as how they speak and behave in their instastory video, which is considered to provide the advantage, and the platform to sharing in goodness.
