    Soybean is one of major crops in Indonesia whose yield has not been fulfilled. National demand is 2,5 million tons, while production based on 2015 BPS data is only 963,099 tons. Production can be increased by utilizing dryland for cultivated area, but cultivation of soybean in dryland has problems such as soil infertile, low of soil nutrients availability and organic matter, also limited water resource. Thus, cultivation technology was needed to solve the problem by using high yielding Grobogan variety with application of compost and mycorrhiza. This study aimed to investigate the influence of mycorrhiza, compost, and interaction both of factors on the growth, yield and quality of Grobogan variety. The Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) was utilized in this experiment with compost Petroganik and mycorrhiza application, also the farmer fertilizer recommendation (NPK fertilizer 150 kg/ha) as control. The results showed that compost 4 and 6 tons/ha + mycorrhiza 400 spores/plant could gives more number of flower than NPK treatment. Mycorrhiza did not give growth and generative difference Grobogan varieties. Compost 4 ton/ha + mycorrhiza 400 spores/plant and 6 ton/ha + mycorrhiza 0-400 spores/plant gave more yield than control. The combination of those treatments increased productivity with average 190 kg/ha. Compost and mycorrhiza had not increase the protein and fat content. The highest protein and fat were 24,32% ( compost 6 tons/ha + mycorrhiza 200 spores/plant) and 20,08% (compost 0 tons/ha + mycorrhiza 400 spores/plant).
