    Abstract

    ABSTRACT MARKETING STRATEGY IN IMPROVING THE NUMBER OF DEPOSITS IN PT. BANK BUKOPIN BRANCH SLAMET RIYADI SURAKARTA In this era of globalization competition in the field of banking is very tight. Lots of products are offered to customers of a bank with a program program with a view to profit. One of them is deposit products. This product almost all banks have with different interest rates. It needs a strategy to get many customers from this product. Writing This Final Project is to know the marketing strategy applied by PT. Bukopin Bank Branch Slamet Riyadi Surakarta to get a lot of deposit customers and know the most effective strategy in increasing the number of deposit customers are also constraints that often faced in implementing these strategies. In this Final Project research using research methods through direct interviews to certain sections of the PT. Bank Bukopin Branch Slamet Riyadi Surakarta, the collection of data in the form of primary and secondary data and using library methods through books relating to this Final Project. This is done to obtain valid results as well as a real analysis of marketing strategies implemented by PT. Bank Bukopin Branch Slamet Riyadi Surakarta. From the results of this research PT. Bukopin Bank Branch Slamet Riyadi Surakarta has done many marketing strategies to increase the number of customers. One of them is by implementing a program called ' Total Marketing ' in which all employees from the branch leadership to the lowest employees to introduce the bank products to the masyarat. But there are also many obstacles in implementing the strategy that is in terms of marketing environment and external environment of the company. As for suggestions from the author to increase the number of deposit customers PT. Bank Bukopin Branch Slamet Riyadi Surakarta is the bank must maximize the quality of human resources and technology is more advanced, and communication promotion to the community should be improved.
