    Abstract

    Leachate formed from chemical and biological decomposed waste which carry harmful compounds. Leachate can pollute the environment and subsurface water. The aim of this research is mapping leachate distribution and know the direction of its distribution. The method used is geoelectric resistivity. The research site is in Plesungan Village, Gondang Rejo, Karanganyar Regency. Acquisition using Wenner-Schlumberger configuration with space of smallest electrode is 15 m. This research using resistivity meter OYO McOHM-EL for current injection and measure the potential difference. Inversion process using Res2dInv software for 2 dimension model and Rockworks16 software for determines the correlation between lines. The research site has a geological structure old alluvium with the characteristics are sand, silt, and clay. From inversion, clay until clay sandstone dominates the research site. The research site is to the southeast of the final disposal site. Leachate from inversion result at <5,55 Ω.m. Leachate distribution detected at 10-40 m sub surface with distance 105-127,5 m and 142,5-165 m for line 1, distance 138,75-157,5 m for line 2 and 75-90 m, 97,5-120 m, 142,5-157,5 m and 180-202,5 m for line 3. Leachate distribution came from leachate pond near line 1. The direction of leachate spread towards the direction line 3 or southwest from leachate pond.
