    Abstract

    This research aims to find out: (1) the difference of ability in writing stories among students who were taught by Think Talk Write model and students who were taught by Students Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model, 2) the difference of ability in writing stories among students who are very interested and students who are not interested in writing, (3) interaction among learning model and writing interest toward their abilities in writing stories. This research includes a quantitative experimental study with 2x2 factorial design. The population was the fourth grade elementary school in Grogol subdistric. The sample of this research were SD Negeri Telukan 02 and SD Negeri Pandeyan 01. The collected data is analysed by using Analysis of Variance Two-Ways. The result of this research are: (1) there is a difference of ability in writing stories among students who were taught by Think Talk Write model and students who were taught by Students Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model; 2) there is a difference of ability in writing stories among students who are very interested and students who are not interested in writing; (3) there is no interaction between learning model and writing interest toward their abilities in writing stories. Abstrak : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan kemampuan menulis cerita antara siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) dan Students Teams Achievement Division (STAD), (2) perbedaan kemampuan menulis cerita antara siswa yang memiliki minat menulis tinggi dan minat menulis rendah, (3) interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan minat menulis terhadap kemampuan menulis cerita. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif eksperimental dengan desain faktorial 2x2. Populasi dalam penelitian ini meliputi siswa kelas 4 SD Negeri di Kecamatan Grogol. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah SD Negeri Telukan 02 dan SD Negeri Pandeyan 01. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Analisis Variansi Dua Jalan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) ada perbedaan kemampuan menulis cerita antara siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) dan Students Teams Achievement Division (STAD) terhadap kemampuan menulis cerita (2) ada perbedaan kemampuan menulis cerita antara siswa yang memiliki minat menulis tinggi dan minat menulis rendah terhadap kemampuan menulis cerita (3) tidak ada interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan minat menulis terhadap kemampuan menulis cerita.
