    Abstract

    ABSTRACT GREEN ECONOMY ANALYSIS ON RICE COMMODITY IN KARANGANYAR REGENCY The aims of this research are to check the organic or an-organic rice commodity distribution, to identify the influence of production factors, such as education, technology, land area, labours, seeds, fertilizer, pesticide and planting period toward and the product result, to ward the agricultural production result of organic and an-organic rice, to know the best agricultural system between organic and an-organic agriculture. It was predicted that the organic agriculture area and the an-organic area were centered in a particular area; some factors, such as education, technology, land area, labours, seeds, fertilizer, pesticide, and the palnting period had positive influence toward the production result, and it was also predicted that the organic rice agriculture was better than the an-organic rice agriculture in Karanganyar regency. This research is a quantitative research which has function to get fact or to proof hypothesis. The data collection of this research was done by taking secunder data from Department of Agriculture, and interview whit some respondents. The total of samples were 116 farmers of organic rice and 150 farmers of an-organic rice. The data analysis method of this research was done with ArcGIS 10.1 program and Eviews 6. The data analysis technique was done by organic and an-organic rice mapping, the linier regression on the production function Cobb Douglas, while the Revenue Cost Ratio was used to analyze which agriculture system was best applied. The result of GIS analysis showed that the location distribution of organic agriculture was spread in some districts while the an-organic agriculture was spread in groups in Karanganyar regency, the result of partial regression coefficient (t-test) with α= 5% showed in the an-organic agriculture, the factors such us land area, labours, seeds, fertilizer, pesticide brought positive influence while the planting period, education and technology gave negative influence. Then, in the organic agriculture, land area fertilizer, education, and technology had positive influence while labours, seeds, pesticide and planting period gave negative influence. The result of F test with α= 5% showed that education, technology, land area, labours, seeds, fertilizer, pesticide, and the planting period influenced the production result, the result of R/C showed that the agriculture system of organic rice was better than the agriculture system of an-organic rice. There are some suggestion and the result of the analysis were: (1) The area of organic agriculture was better to be done centrally. (2) There should be efforts to increase the quality of labours, seeds, fertilizer, and pesticide in an-organic agriculture. (3) The land area and the total of fertilizer needed to be increased in organic agriculture. (4) The farming activities in organic agriculture in Karanganyar should be increased.
