    Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF TEAM ASSISTED INDIVIDUALIZATION (TAI) MODEL COMPLETED BY WORKESHEET BASED ON EXERCISES MODEL TO IMPROVE ACTIVITIES AND LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT STUDENT OF CLASS X MIPA 1 ON SUBJECT MATTER OF STOICHIOMETRY SMA NEGERI 6 SURAKARTA IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR OF 2016/2017. Minor Thesis. Surakarta: Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sebelas Maret University. August 2017. This research purposes were to improve: (1) student’s activities of class X MIPA 1 in the subject matter of stoichiometry SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta in the academic year of 2016/2017 by implementing Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) model completed by worksheet based on exercises model, and (2) student’s learning achievement of class X MIPA 1 in the subject matter of stoichiometry SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta in the academic year of 2016/2017 by implementing Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) model completed by worksheet based on exercises model. This research was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was held in two cycles. Each cycle consist of planning phase, acting phase, observing phase, and reflecting phase. The research subject was the student of class X MIPA 1 of SMA N 6 Surakarta in the academic year of 2016/2017. The data collection technique were observation, interviews, document, questionnaires, and test. Analysis of data using qualitative descriptive method. The result of the research showed that: (1) Implementation of Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) model completed worksheet based on exercises model could be improved student activities of class X MIPA 1 in the subject matter of stoichiometry SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta in the academic year of 2016/2017. The result of precycle showed the completeness percentage of activities was 48%. In the cycle I, the completeness percentage of activities was 80%, and increased to 88% in the cycle II. (2) ) Implementation of Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) model completed worksheet based on exercises model could be improved student’s learning achievement of class X MIPA 1 in the subject matter of stoichiometry SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta in the academic year of 2016/2017. Based on the test result in cycle I, the completeness percentage of knowledge aspect was 60% and increased to 80% in the cycle II. In the cycle I, the completeness percentasge of attitude aspect of the student’s learning achievement was 80% and increased 88% in the cycle II. The completeness percentage skill aspect was 88% in the cycle I.
