    Abstract

    ABSTRACT AN ANALYSIS ON HOUSE OWNERSHIP LOAN FINANCING PRODUCT (KPR) IN SURAKARTA SYARIAH BRANCH OFFICE OF BANK TABUNGAN NEGARA : CONSUMER BEHAVIOR APPROACH Desthya Kartika Candra NIM. F3614032 This research was conducted because BTN KCS Surakarta as Unit Usaha Syariah (UUS) from conventional BTN bank focusing mainly on House Ownership Loan (KPR) financing. The author was interested in studying and finding out the KPR financing product in BTN KCS Surakarta with consumer behavior approach. The objectives of research were the extent to which the consumer behavior based on customers’ decision in selecting and using KPR in BTN KCS Surakarta; (2) to find out the consumer behavior factors most dominantly underlying the customers’ decision in selecting and using KPR financing product in BTN KCS Surakarta. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method, the one relying on descriptive sentence organized systematically from collecting data to interpreting and reporting the result of research. The author conducted observation and collected data directly in the research object, in this case BTN KCS Surakarta, during apprenticeship activity. The author obtained data related to consumer behavior through distributing questionnaire to 35 respondents and customers of KPR financing in BTN KCS Surakarta. In addition, the author employed a variety of relevant reference resources in this research. The variable of research consisted of some variables: learning factor, motivation, perception, economy, religiosity, personality and self-concept, confidence and attitude, external factor, and social class. The result of research showed that (1) on average 56 percent learning factor, 100 percent motivation, 59 percent perception, 98 percent economy, 63 percent religiosity, 85 percent personality and self-concept, 95 percent confidence and attitude, 91 percent external factor, and 60 percent social class factor underlie the respondents’ decision in selecting and using KPR financing product in BTN KCS Surakarta; (2) consumer behavior factors mostly underlying the customers’ decision in selecting and using KPR financing product in BTN KCS Surakarta are motivation, personality and self-concept, economy, external factor, and confidence and attitude.
