    ABSTRACT EFFECT OF STYLES OF LEADERSHIP (TRANSFORMATIONAL AND TRANSACTIONAL) ON PERFORMANCE WITH SATISFACTION WORK AS A MEDIATION VARIABLE (Study on Educators at University of Tunas Pembangunan Surakarta) By: ARKAN MUHARRAM MAHADIKA F1215011 The purpose of this research was to (1) examine and analyze the influence of transactional and transformational leadership style on the performance of educators at University of Tunas Pembaungan Surakarta. (2) to examine and analyze the impact of transactional, transformational leadership style through job satisfaction on the performance of teaching staff at University of Tunas Pembaungan Surakarta.. This research was conducted at University of Tunas Pembangunan Surakarta North Balekambang Street, No. 1, Manahan, Surakarta. The sample used is 142 educators from the existing population. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling. The variables of this study include independent variables of transactional leadership style, transformational leadership style, while for the dependent variable using performance variables, and for the mediation variable using job satisfaction. The analysis tool used is causal step regression. The results of the study found that transactional leadership style positively influenced performance, transformational leadership style positively influenced performance and job satisfaction fully mediate transactional leadership style and transformational leadership style on performance Keywords: Transactional Leadership, Transformational Leadership, Performance, Job Satisfaction, Educators
