      Abstract

      Shuttlecock head punching machine is a machine that used to assist the process of making shuttlecock. This machine serves to create a hole in the head of shuttlecock. The head of shuttlecock that has been perforated then will be fitted with poultry feathers. The driving source of this shuttlecock piercing machine is an electric motor with power ¼ HP, the driving source that will be transmitted to move the piercing needle to perforate the shuttlecock head. The working system of this machine is by means of dop shuttlecock gripped on a pedestal that can be spun and perforated with a pointed spikes up and down. The up and down motion of the spikes is moved by the power source of the electric motor. The electric motor transmitted by the belt and then, it connected to the crankshaft, it forwarded to the rod conection and to the arbor. So that the spikes can rise and fall. To engage a spinning tap there is a gait lever that moves the gear at the bottom of the tap. Dimensions of the pulley used in the shuttlecock head piercing machine has a size of Ø 34 mm, and Ø 340 mm. While the belt dimensions used have code A-66 Keywords: shuttlecock, pulley, belt.
