      Abstract

      ABSTRACK ANALYSIS OF FOOD PLANT AS SUPERIOR COMMODITY IN CILACAP REGENCY ACCORDING TO REGION CENTER YEAR 2010-2015 This study aims to determine the superior comodity of every sub-district, knowing the sub-district that has the potential to be the center of service and growth-has every comodity in Cilacap District and direction of regional development strategy for Cilacap Regency. An agriculture has an important role for the agricultural sector has a role as a provider of the primer needs of Indonesian community, that need is food. However in this globalization era, tere are a lot going on land conversion of agricultural land into residential buildings or industrial areas. In addition, the increase in population also affects the increasing demand for food in Indonesia. Given this, each region must maximize the potential that exists to tackle constraints in meeting their food needs. The development efforts especially in the agriculture field food crop sub sector. One of the districts that can maximize its agricultural development which is Cilacap. Cilacap Regency is a regency in Central Java, which is located at the southwest corner of Central Java province and bordering the West Java province. Cilacap Regency consists of 24 districts. Cilacap Regency has a vast agricultural land. rice field area in Cilacap Regency is 64,738 Ha. The data analysis method used in this research is Location Quotient Analysis (LQ) and Shift-Share (SS) Analysis to know about the food allocation in Cilacap Regency, Scalogram Analysis to know sub-districts that have potential to become service and growth centers in Cilacap Districts. From these three ranks are made as regional economic development policies. Based on LQ and SS analysis, it shows that the distribution of commodities in Cilacap Districts, Peanut and Soybean commodities are excellent commodities because they have comparative and competitive advantages. Sub-districts that have potential as fishermen centers and regional developers use their equipment in the sub -district South Cilacap. The six sub-districts have high developmental indexes Districts. The development areas of the processing industries in each cluster are derived from the combined results of Scalogram, Shift share and Locatient Quoetient analyzes.
