      Abstract

      Course D3 Informatics Engineering is a program of study that are in the Faculty of mathematics and natural sciences of the Sebelas Maret University. This study has already had media documentation and publication of information about courses D3 Informatics Engineering in the form of a website, but as a form of media publications have not fully maximized, then needed an Animated 2D media Profile D3 Informatics Faculty of MIPA UNS which can act as a medium of documentation and publications to be able to introduce the course to the public. The methodology used in making Animated 2D Profile D3 Informatics Faculty of MIPA UNS namely by Observation or data collection, designing animations (storyboards), creation of animation, making of sound, editing/dubbing (merger of all elements of multimedia), the making of the report. The techniques used in making this final project is a motion graphics by using a Choreograhing movement that is a change in position, size, angle and tranform. The making of animated 2D profile is done with computer software used Adobe After Effects as the main software. The resulting product is in the form of video animation 2D profile D3 Informatics Faculty of MIPA UNS being about vision, mission, advantages, facilities, and others. The animation is expected to be a medium of documentation and publications that are interesting and easy to understand. so that the public can get to know course D3 Informatics Engineering SCIENCES Faculty of UNS.
