      Abstract

      ABSTRAC THE ROLE MEDIATION OF DISENGAGEMENT IN THE EFFECT EMOTIONAL EXHAUSTION ON THE AFFECTIVE COMMITMENT AND TURNOVER INTENTION (The Study On Nurse PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta Hospital) By : AGUSTINA DWI PUTRYASRIE NIM.F1215002 The objective of this study s to examine : 1) the effect of emotional exhaustion to the disengagement, 2) the effect of affective commitment, 3) the effect of emotional exhaustion to turnover intention, 4) the effect of emotional exhaustion to affective commitment mediated by disengagement, 5) the effect of emotional exhaustion to turnover intention mediated by disengagement. This research was conducted on health staff employees at the nurse hospital PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Sampling in this research using non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling technique. This study takes the number of respondents as much as 200 people with the technique of calculating samples using Slovin formula and using survey methods on 200 respondents of health personnel staff nurse Hospital PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The technique of data testing using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of Amos 22 . According to Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), which is, examine the hypothesis, the research shows the result as following : 1) emotional exhaustion has positive and significant effect with disengagement, 2) emotional exhaustion has negative and significant effect with affective commitment, 3) emotional exhaustion effect Positive and significant outward intentions, 4) partial mediated disengagement effects between emotional exhaustion and affective commitment, 5) partial mediated disengagement effects between emotional exhaustion and turnover intentions. In this study has several limitations, among others, namely in the sampling only on certain parts of the hospital and only includes employees of health personnel of the nursing department. For further research it is expected to complement the limitations of this study. Keywords : emotional exhaustion, disengagement, affective commitment, turnover intention
