    ABSTRACT Nurul Amalia. K8412062. THE CORRELATION BETWEEN DISCLIPINE AND LEARNING MOTIVATION WITH ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT OF SOCIOLOGY AT XI GRADE STUDENT OF IPS MAN PURWOREJO. Thesis. Surakarta: Teaching Teacher Training and Education Faculty. Sebelas Maret University. 2017. The purposes of this research are to know: (1) The relationship between dicipline with academic achievement of Sociology at XI grade student of Social Science Program at MAN Purworejo. (2) The relationship between learning motivation with academic achievement of Sociology at XI grade student of Social Science Program MAN Purworejo. (3) The relationship between dicipline and learning motivation with academic achievement of Sociology at XI grade student of Social Science Program at MAN Purworejo. The method used in this research is quantitative approach. The population in this study was all students of class XI Social Science Program of MAN Purworejo which consists of 93 students. The sample used some 63 students were taken by cluster random sampling. Data was collected by questionnaire and documentation. Data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. The conclusions of this study are: (1) There is a positive and significant relationship between dicipline with academic achievement of Sociology at XI grade student of Social Science Program, MAN Purworejo. (2) There is a positive and significant relationship between learning motivation with academic achievement of Sociology at XI grade student of Social Science Program, MAN Purworejo. (3) There is a positive and significant relationship between dicipline and learning motivation with academic of Sociology at XI grade student of Social Science Program, MAN Purworejo. So it can be stated that dicipline and learning motivation equally have positive and significant relation with the academic achievement of Sociology at XI grade student of Social Science Program of MAN Purworejo .
