    Abstract

    ABSTRAK IMPLEMENTASI 5S SEBAGAI UPAYA PENCEGAHAN KECELAKAAN KERJA PADA SEKSI WAREHOUSE FINISHED GOODS DI PT SURYA TOTO INDONESIA TBK,DIVISI SANITARY Dian Rahma Sari 1, Reni Wijayanti 2 Latar Belakang : 5S (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke) sebagai pondasi peningkatan mutu dan produktivitas serta pencegahan kecelakaan kerja di perusahaan yang merupakan teknik sederhana, murah dan berdampak langsung kepada quality, cost, delivery, safety dan morality yang mampu mendeteksi perusahaan terhadap komitmen tempat kerja yang rapi, bersih, aman dan nyaman dalam rangka mencegah kecelakaan kerja di perusahaan. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif untuk menggambarkan penerapan metode 5S sebagai upaya pencegahan kecelakaan kerja pada seksi Warehouse Finished Goods di PT Surya Toto Indonesia Tbk divisi Sanitary. Hasil : PT Surya Toto Indonesia Tbk divisi Sanitary pada seksi Warehouse Finished Goods telah menerapkan 5S. Namun pada penerapan seiton (rapi) terdapat temuan yang belum sesuai yaitu pada sistem penyususunan barang di rak barang jadi. Kesimpulan : Warehouse Finished Goods telah memelihara dan menerapkan 5S dengan baik, hal ini sesuai dengan OHSAS 18001 : 2007 klausul 4.5.1 Pemantauan dan Pengukuran Kinerja yang berisi “Organisasi harus membuat, menerapkan dan memelihara prosedur untuk memantau dan mengukur kinerja K3 secara teratur”. ABSTRACT IMPLEMENTATION OF 5S AS A WORK ACCIDENT PREVENTION EFFORT AT THE WAREHOUSE FINISHED GOODS SECTION IN PT SURYA TOTO INDONESIA TBK, SANITARY DIVISION Dian Rahma Sari 1, Reni Wijayanti 2 Background: 5S (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke) as a foundation for quality improvement and productivity with the work accident prevention within the company which is a simple technique, cheap and has a direct impact on quality, cost, delivery, safety and morality that can detect the company about the neat, clean, safe and comfortable workplace commitment to avoid work accident in the company. Method: This research uses a descriptive method to describe the application of 5S method as an effort to prevent work accident on Warehouse Finished Goods section in PT Surya Toto Indonesia Tbk Sanitary division. Result: PT Surya Toto Indonesia Tbk Sanitary division in Warehouse Finished Goods section has implemented 5S, but on the implementation of seiton (neat) there are inventions that have not been appropriate in the system of goodspreparation. Conclusions: The Warehouse Finished Goods section has maintained 5S implementation. This matter is appropriate with OHSAS 18001: 2007 clause 4.5.1 Monitoring and Performance Measuringwhich contains "The organization must establish, implement and maintain the procedures to monitor and measure the OSH performance regularly" .
