The Effect Centella asiatica L.Urban extract on the Histological Structure Damage of Kidney Cells of Mice (Mus Musculus) that is induced by toxic doses paracetamol. Script, Faculty of Medicine, Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta. Background. Centella asiatica L.Urban extract is a potential plant to be studied. This extract contain antioxidant compounds such as Triterpenoid, Essential Oil, and Flavonoid has significant activities to reduce oxidative stress that can make damage of Kidney Cells. The Study aimed to investigate Centella asiatica L.Urban extract nefroprotector effect against Mice (Mus Musculus) kidney cell damage induced by toxic doses Paracetamol and increased dose of Centella asiatica L.Urban extract can improve the protection. Metodology. This study is an experimental research laboratory . The samples were 30 Mice (Mus Musculus) from Swiss webster type, 2-3 weeks old age and ± 20 grams of each weight . Samples were divided into 5 groups, each group consisting of 6 Mice (Mus Musculus) . The control group without any treatment, just regular feed and got aquadest. KI got kidney damage that was induced by paracetamol but did not get any treatment nefroprotector, just got aquadest. KP1, KP2, and KP3 got kidney damage that was induced by paracetamol and got treatment nefroprotector Centella asiatica L.Urban extract at a dose of 5 mg/20 gram, 10 mg/20 gram, dan 20 mg/20 gram. Renal histological images were assessed by the sum of the cell nucleus piknosis , karioreksis , and kariolisis . Data were analyzed using One-Way ANOVA and test followed by a test Posrt Hoc Multiple Comparisons. Result. Results of One-Way ANOVA test showed that p value is 0.000 (p < 0.05).The results of the post hoc multiple comparisons test converting the significant differences between group KK-KI, KK-KP1, KK-KP2, KK-KP3, KI-KP1, KI-KP2, KI-KP3, KP1-KP2, KP1-KP3, and KP2-KP3. Conclusion. Centella asiatica L.Urban extract has a protection in histological structure of kidney damage of Mice (Mus Musculus) that were induced by toxic doses paracetamol and an increased dose of Centella asiatica L.Urban of 5 mg/20 gram, 10 mg/20 gram, dan 20 mg/20 gram extract can improve the nefroprotection.
