    Abstract

    ABSTRACT Agus Jatmiko. 2007. The Correlation Between The Quality of Ngenden Moat Water at Gumpang Village Kartasura Sukoharjo With The Quality of Around Populations Well Water. Biology Department. Faculty of Mathematic and Natural Science. Sebelas Maret University. Surakarta. Pollution burden in water environment progressively become heavier with entry of industrial disposal, and domestic waste in big capacities. Pollution that happened water receiver body such as river and moat, can make an impure especially at well water which is close to the location. Target of research to know BOD, COD, pH, total chrome, TSS, TDS, temperature, make an index to plankton diversitas Ngenden moat water and Gumpang village resident well water, Kartasura, Sukoharjo and also parameter relation of quality of Ngenden moat water with around population well water. Research executed since November 2006 until January 2007 in Biological Sub Lab and Chemical Sub Lab of Laboratory Center UNS. Intake of sample test conducted in 10 differentiated station pursuant to well distance from moat. Perception data analyzed to use pearson moment product correlation test, and anava test continued by DMRT test a=5%. Result of research show TSS, BOD, COD at Ngenden moat water higher than standard quality of receiver body water according to the criterion quality of IV class water of Goverment Regulation Number 82 Year 2001. The value of pH, TSS, BOD, COD of well water higher than drinking water standard quality according to Kepmenkes Number 974 Year 2001 and criterion quality of I class water of Goverment Regulation Number 82 Year 2001. There is strong and positive correlation between BOD and pH moat water with well water. The increasing of pH or BOD of moat water, will followed by the pH or BOD of well water. Result of anava that showed that distance the changing of moat water quality parameter quality of well water.
