    ABSTRACT Cahyo Kuncoro 2017 "Drainage System Performance Evaluation Sub kauman Pasar Kliwon Surakarta" End Task Program DIII Urban Infrastructure Department of Civil Engineering Faculty of Engineering, University of March. Drainage is one of the basic amenities that are designed as a system to meet the needs of society and the facilities and infrastructure which have an important component in the design of the city (especially infrastructure planning). Facilities and infrastructure is building the foundation necessary to support human life that live together in a confined space so that people can settle comfortably and moves easily in all the time and weather, so that they can live healthy and be able to interact with each other in defense of his life. This study aims to determine eksiting system drainage system and evaluate the drainage capacity. The data were used: the data is high and the channel eksisiting conditions, rainfall data, the data in land use, and a map of the Village Kauman Pasar Kliwon Surakarta. The method used is descriptive method evaluative. Where this method descriptive studies that the condition that it is in accordance with the state of the object of study. While the methods of analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis method research that aims to describe the exact nature of an individual nature, circumstances or certain symptoms at the study site. Kauman village drainage channel Pasar Kliwon Surakarta secra be quite good overall, as evidenced by the absence of a puddle in several locations. Kauman village flood discharge in Pasar Kliwon City Surakartadengan use I_2 and I_5 return period. Conditions eksiting acquired channel capacity field capacity to meet are 3 primary channels and 19 secondary channels. Keywords: drainage, channel capacity
