    Abstract

    MUHAMMAD SIDIEQ, 2017, “DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE OF CHASIS ON THE OTOPED”, Final Project, Program Diploma III Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of March Surakarta. The purpose of this final project is to build the otoped gasoline machine. Fungtion from this machine is to minimize the time and energy in the short-distance transport. Manufacture begins by observing otoped gasoline machine. The next stage is the planning drawings and calculations to determine the components that will be used. The last stage is the process of manufacture and assembly. The main driving source that is used on this machine is the chainsaw engine 50 cc and using st37 as the material. The otoped gasoline machine consists of several main components, frame, breaking system and transmision system. Frame material of otoped gasoline machine consist of hollow iron and plate iron. Based on the results of simulation using solidwork, From the test results that the data considered that the frame is able to withstand a load of 80 kg. Keywords: Otoped, Frame, Gasoline Engine.
