    Abstract

    Business development in various sectors resulted in the increasingly fierce competition, not merely how businesses providing products or services, but rather how to order the products or services produced can be known, accepted, and to consumers. Promotion of the company also has experienced a shift, where many businesses are switching from promotion through print and electronic media switched to promotion via the internet, one of which is social media. The presence of such instagram social media as a promotional medium for the largest share of social media for consumers spend their time online. Social media is a great place to promote the product to the consumer. Marketing communications is a combination of five large models or channel include: advertising, sales promotion, publicity or public relations, personal selling, direct marketing. The purpose of this study was to determine the activities of marketing communications Double Decker Restaurant. This is a descriptive study with qualitative approach. Samples in this study using purposive sampling technique with informants is four consumers Double Decker and is a follower of @doubledeckerus instagram account as well as General Manager of Double Decker. Data were analyzed using interactive media and the validity of the data triangulation of data sources. The results showed that marketing communications Double Decker with instagram social media is through advertising, sales promotion, and public relations. Advertising activities undertaken by uploading photos that accompanied the product characteristics and prices of products. Sales promotion activities is to provide discounted uploaded via instagram at certain moments. Meanwhile, publicity or public relations activities undertaken by the Double Decker is to provide good feedback to the consumer in the form of reply to comments and photos merepost visitors. Advertising, sales promotion, and public relations or Double Decker online publicity through social media presence instagram aims to introduce products to consumers at the same time strive to improve product sales volume and create a good brand image to the public
