    Abstract

    PENGARUH PEMBERIAN L-ARGININE TERHADAP KERUSAKAN ENDOTEL PADA PLASENTA MENCIT (Mus Musculus) MODEL PREEKLAMPSIA The Influence of L – Arginine on endothelial damage in Mice (Mus musculus) Placenta preeclampsia model AriawanRiyadi Faculty of Medicine,Sebelas Maret University ABSTRAK Introduction : Preeclampsia is one of the primary contributor for morbidity and mortality in pregnant women and fetus. In preeclampsia, increased advanced glycation end products (AGEs) and their receptors. And then will activate the Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide Phosphate (NADPH) oxidase to increased oxidative stress. In this regard, L-arginine plays a significant role in the maintenance of preeclampsia. L-Arginine inhibits NOS inhibitors, hence it increasesthe production of NO, promotes vascular vasodilatation and improves hypoxia and reduces oxidative stress. This reserach aims to learn the effects of L-ARGININE administration to endothelial damage in mice’s (Mus Musculus) placenta. preeclampsia model Methods : This research was an experimental study with 30 pregnant mice (Mus Musculus), divided randomly into three groups, normal pregnancy (K-), preeclampsia model (K+) and preeclampsia model given L-Arginine (P). The villi chorialis artery thickness and diameter were measured. Statistical analysis of arterial diameter was done using Kruskall-Wallis statistical test. The statistical analysis of the thickness of villi chorialis artery was done using one-way ANOVA statistical test. Results : The mean of villi chorialis arterial diameter (K-) 370,54 µm compared to (K+) 309,03 µm with p=0,029 (p<0,05). The mean of villi chorialis arterial diameter (K+) 309,03 µm compared ( P ) 365,25µm with p=0,015 (p<0,05). The mean of villi chorialis arterial diameter (K-) 370,54 µm compared (P) 365,25µm with p=0,648 (p>0,05). The mean of villi chorialis arterial thickness (K-) 50,95 µm compared to (K+) 70,52 µmwith p=0,009 (p<0,05). The mean of villi chorialis arterial thickness (K+) 70,52 µm compared to (P) 51,56 µm with p=0,011 (p<0,05). The mean of villi chorialis arterial thickness (K-) was 50,95 µm compared to (P) 51,56 µm with p=0,931 (p>0,05). Conclusion : The administration of L-Arginine was proven to improve endothelial damage in of mice’s placenta (Mus Musculus) preeclampsia model.
