    Abstract

    AINI NUR CHASANAH M. 0203014 The universal gravitation constant has been measured by employing the OSK 5372 Ogawa Seiki apparatus. The main apparatus consists of two big and two small lead balls. The research has been carried out by appliying an acceleration method. The aim of the research is to determine the universal gravitation value and the errorness. The acceleration method uses an oscillation principal of a torsional pendulum. The gravitational force causes each of the small balls move to the big balls, so that the hanging wire is being torsioned. The gravitational force is balanced by the torsion of the hanging wire. The movement of these small balls used as the data of acceleration movement. By measuring the mass of the big balls and the distance from the center mass of the big balls to those of the small balls, the value of   G G   is (3,2  0,4) x 10-10 N.m2 /kg2 .
