    Signalizeds intersection is a significant element in the transportation system in big cities. Signal settings must be done as much as possible in order to help smooth the speed of vehicles through the intersection. Signalizeds intersection Kartasura a crossroad and 4 signalizeds first intersection after the roundabout Kartasura became the meeting point of the vehicle from the West, and South. Signalizeds intersection Kartasura consists of 3 phases, the first phase of the West (Jalan Ahmad Yani), the second phase of the East direction (Jalan Ahmad Yani) and the third phase of the North (Adisumarmo Road) and South (Road Wimbo Harsono). While Phase is part of the cycle with a green light signal is provided for a particular combination of moving traffic. This research is expected to know the performance especially the intersection Signalizeds intersection performance level based on the method of Kartasura MKJI (Road Capacity Manual Indonesia) in 1997. his research is based on the method MKJI 1997. The analysis in this study based on primary data from the data taken directly in the field. Analysis performed includes geometry data, the flow of vehicles, the distance from the line to stop the conflict respectively for vehicles leaving and coming. The results of research conducted on the performance and management in Kartasura intersection, the vehicle flow at 06.00-08.00 WIB happen for 2960 smp / hour capacity at the North approach of 569 smp / hour, 313 South approach smp / hour, 682 West approach smp / hr , and 552 East approach smp / hour. degree of saturation of 1.16-1.19, for vehicles stopped on average 2:18 stop / smp, but it also happens tundaan average 359.69 smp / sec. Meanwhile, at 11.30-13.30 WIB flow of 3471 vehicles smp / hour capacity at 649 North approach smp / hour, 289 South approach smp / hour, 786 West approach smp / h and 872 East approach smp / hour, degree of saturation 1.16-1.19 , the vehicle stopped on average 1.86 stop / smp and cross tundaan average 366.28 smp / sec. Performance at Signalizeds intersection Kartasura of 1.16-1.19 degrees of saturation of these results have (Over Saturet), while according to the degree of saturation MKJI 1997 for 0.85 (DS> 0.85). Performance management is needed then. It can be seen from the research capacity of road users is very large, because the intersection is an inter-city roads that connect North to Adisumarmo Airport, South direction towards alternative road to Yogyakarta, Surakarta direction towards the East and West direction to Yogyakarta and Semarang.
