Abstract
SANDS SIEVING EQUIPMENT (Frame) Rahmad Wahyu Nugroho ABSTRACT This final project report contains the process of designing and developing sand sieving machine. The objective of research was to design, to develop, and to test the sand sieving machine having quicker production process and safer operation. This development of sand sieving machine involved designing, sketching, developing technical drawing, calculating and determining the component to be used. The next stage is development and assembly process. The final stage is trial; the finished product of sand sieving process is the fine sand ready to be used in subsequent process. Considering the result of Sand Sieving Machine design, the procedure of development included: framing, sieve development, driver pulley development, driver pin development, caulking, priming, painting and assembly processes. This sand sieving machine used electrical motor with 0.5 hp power. Keywords: sand sieving machine, fine sand, driver pin, sieve
