    Abstract

    RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SELF-EFFICACY AND ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION WITH SELF-ACTUALIZATION TOWARDS PSYCHOLOGICAL STUDENTS OF MEDICAL FACULTY UNIVERSITAS SEBELAS MARET RECEIVED IN SECOND CHOICE Deddy Suryawan Department of Psychology, Faculty of Medicine Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta ABSTRACT Self-actualization is the effort of an individual to optimize capabilities in order to fulfill his desire so that these individuals can achieve peak performance potential. Students that received in the second choice indicated have the motivation and confidence to develop the potential and capabilities they have. Thus, self-efficacy and achievement motivation can be considered as a predictor for self-actualization. This research aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and achievement motivation with self-actualization, the relationship between self-efficacy with self-actualization, and the relationship between achievement motivation and self-actualization of the students in department of psychology UNS that received at the second option. The research population was UNS psychological student that received second choice, using three youngest generation. Sampling used purposive sampling, using saturated sample number 92 students. This research is a quantitative research using multiple regression analysis techniques. The data collection is done by using a scale of self-actualization, self-efficacy and achievement motivation. The results of this research show that, the first is there is a strong relationship between self-efficacy and achievement motivation and self-actualization (R = 0.685; p <0.05). Second, the partial correlation between self-efficacy with low self-actualization (r = 0.311; p <0.05). Third, partially low correlation between achievement motivation and self-actualization (r = 0.389; p <0.05). The amount of donation of self-efficacy and achievement motivation toward self-actualization is 46.9%. Amount of effective contribution towards self-actualization self efficacy is 20.2% and achievement motivation toward self-actualization is 26.7%.
