    Abstract

    ABSTRAK Luthfiana Nurtamara. K4312038. Pengaruh Penerapan Kolbs Experiential Learning Model Terhadap Keterampilan Laboratorium Siswa. Skripsi, Surakarta: Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta, Oktober 2016. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kolbs Experiential Learning Model terhadap keterampilan laboratorium siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan quasi experimental research dengan desain penelitian pre-test post-test with non-equivalent groups. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Al-Islam 1 Surakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015, yang terbagi dalam 4 kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI MIPA 3 terdiri dari 34 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol menerapkan model konvensional dengan praktikum dilengkapi LKS dan kelas XI MIPA 1 terdiri dari 38 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen menerapkan Kolbs Experiential Learning Model. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan non tes. Teknik tes menggunakan metode tes pilihan ganda untuk mengukur penguasaan keterampilan laboratorium meliputi menyiapkan dan menggunakan alat, mengikuti langkah kerja, pengumpulan data, keselamatan kerja, dan kebersihan laboratorium, sedangkan teknik non tes menggunakan metode observasi dengan lembar observasi untuk mengukur keterampilan laboratorium siswa selama kegiatan praktikum. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji ANACOVA dibantu SPSS versi 16 dengan taraf tingkat signifikasi 0.05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan laboratorium siswa F hitung (7.60) > F tabel (3.13) dan sig (0,007 < 0.05). Berdasarkan hasil uji ANACOVA dapat diambil keputusan bahwa ada perbedaan nilai antara penerapan Kolbs Experiential Learning Model dengan pembelajaran konvensional dengan praktikum dilengkapi LKS terhadap keterampilan laboratorium, perbedaan nilai masing-masing aspek yaitu: menyiapkan dan menggunakan alat (77.58/61.23); mengikuti langkah kerja (66.47/67.37); pengumpulan data (62.05/56.88); keselamatan kerja (74.50/89.81); dan kebersihan laboratorium (68.84/75.18). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh penerapan Kolbs Experiential Learning Model terhadap keterampilan laboratorium siswa. The Influence of Implementing Kolbs Experiential Learning Model Toward Students’ Laboratory Skills. This research was conducted to investigate the influence of Kolbs Experiential Learning Model, toward students’ laboratory skill. This research was a quasi experimental research using pre-test post-test nonequivalent control group design. The population of this research was all students of XI MIPA SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta in the Academic Year 2015/2016 consisting of four classes. This research used cluster random sampling. There were two classes as the experiment class, the first was XI MIPA 3 as the control class consisting of 34 student’s was used conventional learning model with experiment completed worksheet and the class XI MIPA 1 as the experiment class consisting of 38 student’s was used Kolbs Experiential Learning Model. The data collecting of this research used test and non-test. The test used multiple choice to collect laboratory skills data, this including setting up and used of equipment, following procedure, data collection, laboratory safety, and clean up procedures, meanwhile the non-test (observation sheet and documentation) was used to collect students’ laboratory skills performance. Hypothesis test used ANACOVA by using SPSS 16 with significant grade 0.05. The results of this research shows that laboratory skills F calculated (7.60) > F table (3.13) and sig (0,007 < 0.05). Based on ANACOVA test analysis it showed that significant value is 0.007 (sig < 0.05), so there were differences grade between implementing Kolbs Experiential Learning Model and conventional learning model with experiment completed worksheet, differences grade on each criteria this including setting up and used of equipment (77.58/61.23); following procedure (66.47/67.37); data collection (62.05/56.88); laboratory safety (74.50/89.81); and clean up procedures (68.84/75.18).
