    Abstract

    The purpose of this research are to improve the skills of letter recognition through quantum learning on the A group children of TK Al Islam 4 Surakarta 2015 /2016 academic Year. This research is a classroom action research that be held in two cycles. Every cycle consists of four steps. The steps are plan, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of action research are A group children which consists of 19 children.. The results of research showed there is increased of ability to letter recognition through quantum learning model. Percentage of completeness on pre-action amounted to 31.57%. First meeting in the first cycle percentage of completeness increase to 47.36%. Second meeting in the first cycle increase to 57.89%. First meeting in the second cycle increase to 68.42%. second meeting in the second cycle increase to 78.94%. The Conclusions of this research is that the quantum learning model can improve child literacy on the A group children of TK Al Islam 4 Surakarta 2015 /2016 academic year.
