    Abstract

    The aim of the research is to know if : (1) the instruction of mathematics by computer media brings in better mathematics achievement than the one by OHP media, (2) students with strong motivated learning have better mathematics achievement than who have either medium or low motivation, and (3) which one can make better achievement on mathematics between the instruction using computer media or students with strong, medium, and low motivated learning. This research is a quasi experimental research. The populations of this research are the students of the 10 th grade of the government vocational school of Business and Management Department in Surakarta. The technique of voting sample used is cluster random sampling consists of 6 classes as samples chosen from each school ; taken 3 classes as experiment class 1 with 120 students, and 3 classes as experiment class 2 with 120 students. Data collection method used is documentation, questionaire, and test. The instrument of this research is learning motivation questionaire for 40 questions and achievement test with 25 questions. Pre condition of analysis test done by normality test using Lilliefors method, homogenity test used Bartlett method with statistics Chi Kuadrat test, and balance test with t test. Technique of data analysis using two ways anava with different cell, with 5% significant level. From the research can be concluded that: (1) Mathematics achievement of students learning provided by computer media will be better than learning provided students with the OHP media. (2) Mathematics achievement of students with high learning motivation as well as mathematics achievement of students with medium or low motivation. (3) Learning achievement between students with strong, medium, and low motivated learning apply the consistent for each use of learning media.
