    Abstract

    ABSTRACK Nur Fadlila.CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS ENHANCEMENT IN SCIENCE LEARNING THROUGH PLAYING METHOD FOR B1 GROUP IN TK AISYIYAH PUNGGAWAN YEAR 2016/2017. Thesis,Surakarta : Theacher Training and Education Faculty, Sebelas Maret University, January 2017. This research paper is aimed to improved the critical thingking ability on learning science process by applying playing method for children in B1 class on Aisyiyah Punggawan Kindergaten School of Surakarta on semester 2016/2017. The type of this research is an action classroom research that have done in 2 cycle. Each meeting concludes planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The subject and the data source in this research is for children in B1 class on Aisyiyah Punggawan Kindergaten School of Surakarta which as many as 21 children and teacher of B1 class. The technique of data collection is observation, interview, documentation, and portofolio assessment. The validity of the data that used in this research is triangulation source and triangulation technique. Then, the thecnique of data analysis used interactive analysis model based on Milles and Hubbermen which included the data collection, the data reduction, the data observation and reflection.The result of this action classroom research is to show the improvement of children’s critical thinking ability on each cycle. On pre-cycle, the researcher gets there are 38.09% or 8 children trough the passing grade. On 1-cycle, the ability of critical thinking enhances up to 61.90% or 13 children. And on the 2-cycle, there are 18 children or 85,71% which shown improvement of critical thinking ability. According to this result of this action classroom research during 2-cycles showed that by applying playing method can encourage the ability of critical thinking for children in B1 class on Aisyiyah Punggawan Kindergaten School of Surakarta.on 2016/2017.
