    Abstract

    ABSTRAK Fajar Sidiek Prahartanto, 2016 Kinerja Simpang Bersinyal dan Tak Bersinyal (Studi Kasus Simpang Bersinyal Gendengan dan Simpang Tak Bersinyal Jalan Dokter Moewardi – Jalan Kalitan, Surakarta). Skripsi, Jurusan Teknik Sipil Fakultas Teknik Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta. Simpang Kalitan dan simpang Gendengan merupakan dua simpang yang sangat berdekatan dengan jarak antar simpang 86,05 serta memiliki arus yang padat terutama pada jam sibuk. Memperhatikan kondisi geometri jalan, volume arus lalulintas, hambatan samping dan lingkungan simpang yang merupakan daerah komersil, maka dilakukan analisis untuk mengetahui nilai kinerja masing-masing simpang kondisi eksisting. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yaitu data volume lalu lintas, geometri simpang, waktu siklus dan kondisi lingkungan. Sedangkan data sekunder yaitu data jumlah penduduk Kota Surakarta tahun 2014. Data-data yang didapat digunakan untuk menganalisis kinerja simpang tersebut dengan menggunakan metode Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI) 1997 . Dari hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa Simpang Tiga Kalitan dapat diperoleh arus lalu lintas simpang pada jam sibuk pagi = 2735 smp/jam, derajat kejenuhan (DS) = 0,69 < 0,85, Tundaan Simpang (D) = 10,9 detik/smp. Arus lalu lintas pada jam sibuk sore = 3577 smp/jam, derajat kejenuhan (DS) = 0.94 > 0,85, Tundaan Simpang (D) = 16,5 detik/smp. Sedangkan hasil analisis terhadap Simpang Gendengan diperoleh arus lalu lintas simpang pada jam sibuk pagi pendekat utara = 516 smp/jam, pendekat selatan = 318 smp/jam, dan pendekat barat = 1026 smp/jam. Derajat kejenuhan pendekat utara (DS) = 0,58 , pendekat selatan = 0,57 , dan pendekat barat = 1,27 . Panjang Antrian pendekat utara (QL) = 109 m , pendekat selatan = 115 m ,dan pendekat barat = 1080 m. Arus lalu lintas simpang pada jam sibuk sore pendekat utara = 486 smp/jam, pendekat selatan = 544 smp/jam, dan pendekat barat = 1012 smp/jam. Derajat kejenuhan pendekat utara (DS) = 0,52 , pendekat selatan = 0,97 , dan pendekat barat = 1,19 . Kalitan intersection and Gendengan intersection are two intersections are very close , the distance between the intersection of 86,05 m and have a solid flow, especially during in peak hours Having regard to road geometry conditions, the volume of traffic flow, environmental constraints and adverse side which is the commercial area, then analyzed to determine the value of each performance each intersection existing conditions. The data used is primary data are traffic volumes, intersection geometry, cycle time and environmental conditions. While the secondary data is population of the city of Surakarta in 2014. The data obtained are used to analyze the performance of the intersection using the Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI) 1997. From the analysis it can be concluded that the Kalitan Intersection can be obtained traffic intersection in the morning peak hour = 2735 smp / hour, the degree of saturation (DS) = 0.69 <0.85, Delay (D) = 10.9 sec / smp. The flow of traffic during peak hour afternoon = 3577 smp / hour, the degree of saturation (DS) = 0.94> 0.85, Delay (D) = 16.5 sec / smp While the analysis of the obtained Gendengan intersection traffic flow intersections on the morning peak hour north approach = 516 smp / hour, south approach = 318 smp / hour, and west approach = 1026 smp / hour.
