    Abstract

    ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF SALES SKILLS ON THE PERFORMANCE OF THE SALES FORCE IS MEDIATED BY CONSUMER CONFIDENCE (Study on consumer behavior Oriflame Cosmetics in Surakarta) Arsiska Putri Mursintaningsih NIM. F1214013 This research aims to examine influence of interpersonal skill, salesmanship skill, technical sales skills and marketing skills to the performance of the energy sales through consumer confidence as the mediation variable. More specificcaly, this research conducted on purchase of Oriflame Cosmetics in Surakarta Data on this research collected through the questionnaire given to the respondents. The sample consists of 200 respondents respondents who recruited that was taken by convenience sampling technique. This study used Structural Equation Model through AMOS 18.0 for hypothesis testing, to accomodate the relationship among of variabel. The results of the study shows that consumer confidence to mediate the relationship between interpersonal skill, salesmanship skill, technical skills and marketing skills to the performance of the sales force. These studies have limitations that covers the object is examined only focused on consumers in one of cosmetic companies in Surakarta the company Oriflame Cosmetics. This can restrict generalisations from the findings. So on further research is expected to eliminate the limitations on this research.
