    Abstract

    ABSTRACT Dwi Haryanto, D1114008, The Employee Performance of Badan Pusat Statistik Karanganyar Regency, Thesis, course of public administration, Social and political faculty, Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta,2016. in providing quality statistical data necessary human resources quality as well but with their employees who work not appropriate operational standards and procedures led to the fall of the trust of the public. In 2014 gains of BPS down it makes a note less well where at the end of the 2009-2014 strategic plan of the gains do not match what was on target then yet planning the creation of human resource requirements by mapping competencies which today is still done by considering the vacant position on the structure organization. Given the existence of these problems the authors are interested to know how the Employee Performance Statistics Karanganyar Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method to describe the performance of the Central Bureau of Statistics Karanganyar, while the data sources used include informants, through interviews and reviewing documents and records related to the research Sampling method used is purposive sampling by selecting informants considered to know and can be trusted to be a source of data. Namely data collection techniques by observation, interviews, and documentation. Test the validity of data using data triangulation technique is to test similar data from different sources. Data analysis technique used is the technique of interactive analysis consists of three components: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion These results indicate that the performance of Karanganyar Central Statistics Agency described by the four indicators of responsiveness, responsibility, accountability and openness / transparency by using these four indicators can be seen how the Employee Performance Statistics Agency Karanganyar. Based on the results of this study concluded that secaraaa general Performance Statistics Agency of Karanganyar in accordance with the basic laws, and has conducted an evaluation of each month to reduce work-related errors, BPS as what he wanted people, but not all wishes of the people can be fulfilled because related rules and regulations, and are fully responsible for all tasks and functions, and are open to the public who wish to obtain information.
