This study aims to increase students activity and improve the writing skills of the film/drama by using methods Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) on 4 AP class XI student of SMK N 1 Karanganyar, Kebumen. Type of research is a class action (PTK). The subjects were students of class XI AP 4 SMK N 1 Karanganyar, Kebumen, totaling 36 students. Source of data used in the form of informants, events, and documents. The data collection is done by observation, interviews and document analysis. Test the validity of the data using triangulation techniques of data sources, triangulation methods, and review the informant. Technical analysis of the data using the techniques of critical analysis. Based on the results of this study concluded that the methods Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) may enhance the activity of students in the learning process of writing skills film/drama students of class XI AP 4 SMK N 1 Karanganyar, Kebumen. The average value activity of students in the learning process at 43,88 with the criteria prasiklus is sufficient but not optimal; in the first cycle was 72,22 with sufficient criteria but were optimal; and the second cycle is 80,55 with good criteria and optimized. In addition, application of methods Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) also can improve the writing skills of the film/drama class XI student of SMK N 1 AP 4 Karanganyar, Kebumen. Improving the quality of learning outcomes writing texts film/drama can be seen from the increase in average test writing skills film/drama and the percentage complete learn at each cycle. In the mean value prasiklus writing skills film/drama is 71,8 with learning completeness percentage of 41,7% (15 students). In the first cycle the average value of the skill of writing texts film/drama is 78,7 with learning completeness percentage of 63,9% (23 students). In the second cycle the average value of the skill of writing texts film/drama is 82,8 with learning completeness percentage of 83,3% (students).
