Kata Kunci: Komparasi Peta Konsep, Sinektik, Group Investigation, Motivasi Berprestasi, dan Kemampuan Apresiasi Cerita Pendek Tujuan penelitian yang berjudul Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran terhadap Kemampuan Mengapresiasi Cerita Pendek Ditinjau dari Motivasi Berprestasi (Studi Eksperimen di Sma Daerah Surakarta) adalah: (1) menemukan perbedaan kemampuan apresiasi cerita pendek antara siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran Peta Konsep (Mind Mapping), Sinektik, dan Group Investigation; (2) menemukan perbedaan kemampuan apresiasi cerita pendek antara siswa yang memiliki motivasi berprestasi tinggi dan siswa yang memilki motivasi berprestasi rendah; (3) menemukan interaksi antara penggunaan model pembelajaran dan motivasi berprestasi dalam mempengaruhi kemampuan apresiasi cerita pendek. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperiment dengan desain penelitian faktorial 3 X 2. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket untuk mengukur motivasi berprestasi siswa, tes untuk mengukur kemampuan apresiasi cerpen. Uji validitas meliputi validitas isi, validitas muka, dan uji empiris. Uji empiris untuk mengetahui validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen. Uji normalitas menggunakan metode Kolmogorov-Smirnov dan uji homogenitas menggunakan metode Levene’s test of equality of error variances. Analisis data menggunakan Anava dua faktor dengan program komputer SPSS. Dari analisis inferensial diperoleh simpulan: (1) ada perbedaan kemampuan apresiasi cerita pendek antara siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran Peta Konsep (Mind Mapping), Sinektik, dan Group Investigation; (2) ada perbedaan kemampuan apresiasi cerita pendek antara siswa yang memiliki motivasi berprestasi tinggi dan siswa yang memilki motivasi berprestasi rendah; (3) ada interaksi antara penggunaan model pembelajaran dan motivasi berprestasi dalam mempengaruhi kemampuan apresiasi cerita pendek. Keyword: Comparison of Mind Mapping, Synectics, Group Investigation, Achievement Motivation, and the Ability to Appreciate the Short Story The purpose of the research entitled The Influence of Learning Style toward the Ability to Appreciate the Short Story Considered from the Achievement Motivation (Experiment Study in SMA Surakarta District) are: (1) to find out the difference of the ability to appreciate the short story between the students who learn with mind mapping learning style, synectics, and group investigation; (2) to find out the difference of the ability to appreciate the short story between the students who have high achievement motivation and the students who have low achievement motivation; (3) to find out the interaction between the using of learning style and achievement motivation in the influence of the ability to appreciate the short story. This research used quasi experiment method with factorial research design 3x2. The technique of data collection used questionnaire in order to measure the students’ learning motivation, and test to measure the ability to appreciate the short story. The validity tests are content validity, surface validity, and empirical test. The purposes of empirical test are to know about the instrument validity and reliability. Normality test used Kolmogorov-Smirnov method and homogenates test used Levene’s test of equality of error variances method. The data analysis used Anava two factors with SPSS computer program. From the inferential analysis, it can be concluded that: (1) there are some differences of the ability to appreciate the short story between the students who learn with mind mapping learning style, synectics, and group investigation; (2) there are some differences of the ability to appreciate the short story between the students who have high achievement motivation and the students who have low achievement motivation; (3) there are some interactions between the using of learning style and achievement motivation in the influence of the ability to appreciate the short story
