    Abstract

    The magazine is a periodical media which covers the contents of various actual and informative topics. The magazine is a printed media publication intended as a public forummedia which is not uncommon around us and it has become a part of popular culture products today. Byarr magazine designed by the creator/innovator will be a prototype / Start-up on doing business in the domain of creative industry focused on designing and publishing. The Management section in Byarr magazine will conduct general business scheme that can be found in another magazine business, which aims to earnprofit from the production of Byarr Magazine by means of business plan design to determine effective marketing communication. The design of Byarr Magazine will specifically discussing the issues surrounding the creative industries in Indonesia, whereas on the technical aspects of the magazine, contains many elements –the graphic elements such as images, typography, colors, illustrations and other elements in which those things will beautify the content of the magazine and attract people to read it. The design of magazine Byarr using two processof approach, the first pre-production and the production included in the first model and the pre-production phases included in the second process. The second order of that process is the first model First / pre-productions –the production of making/designing the cover of magazine/designing the content of magazine/finalizing the magazine. The first process cannot be separated from the design process, which involves activities such as defining problems, collecting information, brain storming analysis / ideas, design improvement, presenting ideas to get feedback and the last part, developing final solution along with qualitative and quantitative methods. The second process / Post-production of branding Byarrmagazine Byarrwith the aspects of communication design and implementation of the business plan 5W + 1H and SWOT analysis. Byarr magazine which has undergone the process of designing the graphic design has become a single entity of magazine which aesthetically serves as packaging of a media which contains the contents dealing with the creative industry in Indonesia. The Marketing communications strategy still uses dual methods: conventional marketing model and digital marketing. Both models are being formulated by making business plan containing 5W + 1H analysis and SWOT analysis. Byarr magazine business plan will be a guide module for the activation of Byarr magazine to the public, both in the realm of offline and online. It may be an element of novelty of Byarr magazine.
