    Abstract

    ABSTRACT Vila Firdusiyah. 2016. The Experimentation of Cooperative Learning of Structured Numbered Heads (SNH) Type and Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Type with Real Mathematic Approach on The Subject of Operations Algebra Form Viewed from Students’ Multiple Intelligences of Seven Grade of Secondary Schools in Kudus Regency in The Academic Year of 2015/2016. ABSTRACT The purposes of this study were to determine: (1) which one get the better learning achievement between students who were treated the cooperative learning models of SNH with RME approach, NHT with RME approach, and conventional learning. (2) which one get the better learning achievement, between students with logical mathematical intelligence, linguistic intelligence, or interpersonal intelligence, (3) viewed from learning models, wich one gave the better learning achievement, among students with logical mathematical intelligence, linguistic intelligence, or interpersonal intelligence, (4) viewed from multiple intelligences’ category, which one get the better learning achievement between students who were treated the cooperative learning models of SNH with RME approach, NHT with RME approach,, or conventional learning. The type of study was a quasi-experimental research with a 3x3 factorial design. The study population was all grade VII students of Secondary Schools in Kudus Regency. Sample was collected by stratified cluster random sampling. The sample consisted of 272 students: 96 students for experiment I class, 94 for experiment II class and 82 for control class. Instrument used for data collection were mathematics learning achievement test and multiple intelligences questionnaire. The data analysis technique used was unbalanced two ways analysis of variance. The results could be concluded as follows. (1) SNH with RME approach got better learning achievement than NHT with RME approach and conventional. In addition, NHT with RME approach got better learning achievement than conventional. (2) Students with logical mathematical intelligence got better achievement than students with linguistic intelligence and students with interpersonal intelligence, students with linguistic intelligence got better achievement than students with interpersonal intelligence. (3) In (SNH) with RME approach, students with logical mathematical and linguistic intelligence got the same achievement and students with logical mathematical and linguistic intelligence got better achievement than students with interpersonal intelligence; in (NHT) with RME approach and conventional, students with logical mathematical intelligence got better achievement than students with linguistic and ix interpersonal intelligence, students with linguistic intelligence got better achievement than students with interpersonal intelligence. (4) In logical mathematical intelligence, SNH and NHT with RME approach gave the same achievement as conventional; in linguistic intelligence, SNH with RME gave better achievement than NHT with RME approach, and conventional, NHT with RME approach gave the same achievement as conventional; in interpersonal intelligence, SNH with RME approach gave the same achievement as NHT with RME approach, SNH with RME approach gave better achievement than conventional, NHT with RME approach gave the same achievement as conventional.
